then they've cornered themselves with either delivering some "Gameworks" RT features that truly show it off otherwise that die area should've gone to more cuda cores, it really sucks if two years + smaller node isn't enough to make a significant performance upgrade.
doing some calculations to figure out the Tflop performance based on "leaked" specs:
(number of cuda cores) * 2 (since each cuda core can do two operations simultaneously per clock) * (base clock speed) / 1 million (to convert unit from megaflops to teraflops)
so here's what we have:
4352 * 2 * 1350 / 1000000 = 11.7504 Tflops which is similar to the current 1080Ti performance, I believe those specs are not for 2080Ti
can't wait to dive into this game, this has the potential to be the greatest super hero game of all time.
after seeing some of those pocket PCs getting more and more powerful, I wouldn't be surprised if MS is working on a Nintendo switch sized XBOX ONE P (P for portable) that got the performance of the original XBOX ONE or XBOX ONE S with a 1080p HDR screen and can play all XBOX ONE titles, storage would be a problem though as some games exceed 100GB in size.
one thing to keep in mind above all those issues is that MS reduced the memory (RAM) footprint of the OS a number of times through system updates, that frees more memory for developers to use, a game that was designed to take advantage of a 450 MB RAM system for example is not going to work on an older OS where the total RAM available to games is 400 MB , those numbers are examples but the concept is there, that's why a lot of disc based games come equipped with the latest OS update at th...
It was my fav.
last tennis game I got was Virtua Tennis 4 on my Vita, it ran at solid 60fps and had awesome visuals when it came out.
Am I the only person on earth who still cares about tennis games?
How dare we catch/kill virtual polygonal fish in a video game?!, im starting to feel ashamed of myself.
Housemarque is one of the developers I always keep a close eye on, though I respect their unannounced policy of never releasing a sequel but I'd be all over a new Dead Nation.
I want the Nintendo version of this.
is that an article from 2013?
I could definitely use a Smash Bros Wii U port for the Switch in the meantime.
yes it can on the basis that X360 & PS3 could and the switch is a more powerful machine than these two with plenty more RAM.
Never had a GBA but I've looked the game up and it's kind of what I wanted, im also waiting for the Virtual Console for Nintendo Switch, is it possible that GBA games like Mario Advance 4 will be available there?
Though not exactly on topic, I would love to see a Mario Mania.
So you either win or I kill you?
sounds funny & sad at the same time but more sad tbh, some ppl need to grow something called a brain.
I want the NX to give me something like the wow factor when I first saw N64 games.
no disrespect for him personally but I believe he's one of those leaders who focus on short term revenue even at the cost of pissing off consumers (long term consequence), the strict XBOX ONE policies would've gotten them more game sales coz ppl can't share them with their friends but long term consequence is that some of those ppl will switch to other platforms and spend their money there.
im planning to get a 120hz HDMI 2.1 4K tv at some point, so my gaming target will become 4K@120fps which clearly even a 2080Ti won't be able to pull it off, so I think im gonna skip this series, my GTX 1080 is doing amazing for 1440p/60 and 4k/60 for less demanding titles.
